We cut these with a low rise and a wide lantern shape that pulls inward at the ankle hem. The linen blend lets air move through on warm days. We dyed them in a muted rose wash that softens with each cycle through the wash.

• Gathered waistband. The elastic waist sits flat against the skin and adjusts with a self-fabric drawstring. It stays in place without pinching when you sit.
• Lantern leg cut. Panel seams run down the side to shape the extra fabric through the knee before tapering toward the ankle hem. The leg stays loose.
