We cut this pair with generous volume through the thigh that settles back down toward the ankle. The linen-blend weave is lightweight and lets air through on hot days. An elastic waistband with a matching drawstring keeps the high rise anchored without binding.

• Leg cut and volume. The harem shape sits wide through the hip and thigh, then falls in a soft drape down the leg. Subtle seam construction gives the fabric room to move when you walk.
• Elastic waist and drawcord. We built the waistband with a wide band of interior elastic and added an external drawstring. You can pull the cord tight or let it rest loose without losing the rise.
• Dropped side pockets. Deep side pockets sit slightly lower along the outer seam. They are set flat into the cut so they hold small everyday items without distorting the side silhouette of the pant.
• Linen care and washing. Wash on a gentle cycle or by hand in cool water, then line dry in the shade. Steam iron if you want a flat finish, or let the natural linen texture dry in.
