We cut this long-sleeve blouse with extra room through the chest and shoulders so the fabric hangs straight rather than clinging. The light gray-blue stripe runs vertical to meet a clean turn-down collar and a single chest pocket. Smocked elastic at the wrists lets you adjust the sleeve length without fiddling with cuff buttons.

• Loom and stripe. The linen blend balances drape and structure. Fine vertical stripes in soft gray-blue break up the weave, and the fabric softens with every trip through the wash while holding its shape across the shoulders.
