We cut these with extra room through the thigh and taper the shape back in toward the cuff. The linen blend keeps its airy drape while structured seams guide the rounded silhouette. A soft pull-on waist holds where you set it, dyed in a muted heather light khaki that shows the natural weave.

• Waistband and drawstring. We set an elastic band into the waist and threaded a matching drawcord through the channel. It rests flat against the hips without pinching, giving you room to adjust the tension as needed.
• Barrel leg shape. The pattern bows outward through the leg and gathers back at the elastic ankles. Outer seam lines run down each side to give the linen structure so the volume holds its shape rather than collapsing.
• Deep side pockets. Two open pockets sit directly along the side seams. We cut them deep enough to hold keys or a phone without dragging the waistband down or pulling at the hips.
