We cut these black pants with volume through the thigh that bows outward along structural side seams before pulling in at the cuffs. An elastic waistband with a matching drawstring sets the rise where you want it. The lightweight linen blend hangs away from the leg, venting warm air throughout the day.

• Barrel leg cut. Curved side seams push the fabric outward through the calf before tapering down to the elastic cuffs. The resulting harem volume stays loose around the knee and ankle without dragging along the ground.
• Waistband and drawcord. We built the waistband with a wide internal elastic band and added an adjustable cord through the front casing. It holds its place without digging, whether seated or walking.
• Slanted side pockets. Two inset pockets sit along the forward side seams. We cut them deep enough to hold keys or a phone without pulling down the silhouette of the hip.
• Linen care and wash. Wash on a gentle cycle in cool or lukewarm water, then hang the fabric to dry. A quick pass with a warm iron or steamer restores the smooth, soft hand of the black weave.
