We cut these barrel trousers with an arched outer seam that builds volume through the leg before tapering slightly toward the ankle. The high waist combines an elastic band with an adjustable self-fabric drawstring. A lightweight linen weave in coffee and white plaid keeps the silhouette relaxed and open.

• Barrel leg silhouette. We bowed the side seams outward through the calf and thigh, then brought the hem back inward. The shape holds its structure away from the body without clinging, creating a loose taper that clears the ankles cleanly.
• Elastic drawstring waistband. The wide waistband uses an internal elastic core paired with a flat woven drawstring. It sits high on the waist, holds securely without pinching, and lets you adjust the gather evenly across the front and back.
