We cut these shorts with a wide smocked waistband that sits high and stays flat against the waist. The lightweight linen blend hangs straight through the leg without catching. Two deep side pockets sit along the seam line for everyday wear around the house or in warm air.

  • Smocked elastic waistband. A shirred band provides a wide contact area that anchors high on the waist. It flexes easily as you move, keeping the fit secure without any drawstrings or hardware.
  • Lightweight stripe weave. The linen and lyocell blend offers an open, airy weave that lets heat vent naturally. It arrives soft to the touch and drapes loosely without adding bulk.
  • Side seam pockets. We inset generous pockets directly into the side seams. They lie flat against the hip when empty and hold small essentials securely without pulling the fabric out of shape.
  • Gentle machine care. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle to preserve the weave and striped pattern. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat to keep the soft hand intact.
