We cut these culottes with a generous leg that finishes well below the knee. The fabric has a soft stretch hand that drapes straight down without clinging to the calf. A gathered drawstring waist settles where you pull it, and side pockets sit flat along the seam.

Leg cut and hem. The legs flare wide from the hip down to a clean cropped hem. Air moves easily through the open shape, and the fabric hangs clear of the lower leg while you walk.
Drawstring waistband. An elastic band gathers the top edge, threaded with a matching tie so you can adjust the tension. It stays put without digging into the waist.
Side pocket design. We set two pockets directly into the side seams. They drop deep enough for a phone or keys without pulling the cut out of alignment.
