We cut these gaucho culottes with generous volume through the thigh that falls straight to a cropped hem. The fabric has light stretch and a soft hand, dyed in a pale heather gray. An elastic channel with an exterior tie keeps the waistband flat across the middle without pinching.

Adjustable waistband. We run an elastic band through the top casing and thread an exterior drawstring through the front. You can cinch it tighter or leave it loose, so the rise stays where you place it without digging in.
Cropped palazzo leg. The leg opens wide from the hip down and finishes well above the ankle. That extra width lets air move around the calves while the hem stays clear of footwear and the floor.
Side seam pockets. We set two deep pockets directly into the side seams. They sit flat against the hip when empty and hold small items securely without pulling the waistband down.
Heather gray knit. The knit combines light stretch with a brushed, soft surface. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and hang to dry so the heather gray color and drape hold their shape over time.
