We cut these from black textured corduroy and set contrast plaid patchwork down both outer legs. The waist uses a pull-on elastic band anchored with a drawstring. It sits loose through the hips and curves out at the knee before tapering toward the ankle.

• Barrel leg shape. The silhouette bows outward through the leg and pulls slightly back in at the hem. It leaves generous room across the thigh and knee without pooling around your footwear.
• Plaid patchwork panels. Woven checkered panels run down the outer seams of the black corduroy base. The contrasting fabric breaks up the heavy pile and holds its shape through the wide leg.
