We built these cold-weather pants around a ribbed fold-over band that sits flat against the middle without binding. The corduroy cloth holds warmth and gives the curved barrel shape enough body to stay rounded through the knee. Two wide patch pockets anchor the front.

• Fold over ribbed waistband. A soft knit panel folds down over the top of the hips. It gives stretch where you move and stays flat under sweaters without hardware or drawstrings.
• Curved barrel leg. The leg bows outward from the hip down to the mid-calf before tapering toward the ankle. This cut leaves ample space through the thighs and keeps the lower hem off the ground.
• Dot print corduroy cloth. Fine cord ribs trap heat for chilly days while the allover white dot print breaks up the muted army green base. The fabric softens with wear and holds its weight through the hem.
• Front patch pockets and care. Deep square pockets sit on the front panels to hold keys and a phone. Wash in cold water with matching colors and tumble dry on low heat to protect the cord pile and ribbed band.
