A wide ribbed band sits flat across the middle and folds down without pinching. We shaped the leg into an arc through the calf and brought it back in at the ankle. The corduroy wales hold air, softening as you wear them. Army green takes the dye deep into the pile.

• Fold over ribbed waistband. A soft knit panel folds over or wears tall against the waist. It stretches wide, distributes pressure across the midsection, and recovers its shape after hours of sitting.
• Bowed barrel leg. The outer seam curves wide past the knee then tapers down to a clean hem. This cut keeps heavy fabric off the shins while maintaining an open stride.
• Deep patch pockets. We set two deep square pockets flat across the front thighs. They sit flush against the corduroy wales so heavy keys or phones rest low without pulling the waistband.
• Washing the corduroy pile. Wash cold on a gentle cycle to protect the ribs of the cloth. Tumble dry on low heat or hang flat so the green shade stays even and the knit band keeps its spring.
