We cut these loose trousers from a soft ribbed corduroy that holds warmth for the colder months. The silhouette combines a dropped crotch with a wide cropped leg and small side slits at each hem. An elastic waistband gathers fabric at the top, leaving plenty of room through the seat and thighs.

• Elastic gathered waistband. The wide waistband uses gathered elastic that stretches easily and sits flat against the waist. It pulls on without fasteners, gathering the top of the trouser to create volume through the hips and seat.
• Dropped crotch cut. A low rise and dropped crotch give these trousers their signature harem profile. The loose cut through the thighs leaves room to move freely without binding or pulling when you sit down.
