We built this piece with double-layer ruffle tiers over an inner short. The wide elastic waistband sits high and stays flat across the middle without pinching. The lightweight woven fabric catches the air while the liner keeps you covered when you move.

• Tiered skirt construction. Two ruffled tiers give the outer skirt its volume and swing. The seams are finished flat so the layers drape without adding bulk at the hips.
• Inner liner shorts. Underneath the gathered tiers sits a smooth jersey short. It stays tucked close to the leg so you can walk, bend, or sit without shifting.
• Elastic high waistband. The elastic band is wide and sewn directly into the top edge. It pulls on quickly, holds its position at the natural waist, and does not roll.
• Fabric and cold wash. The floral black and pink cloth is light, woven, and fully opaque. Machine wash cold with like colours on a gentle cycle, then hang or line dry to protect the tier stitching.
