We cut this skort with two tiers of flared ruffles over a pair of fitted undershorts. The waistband pulls straight on with covered elastic that sits high on the waist. An open weave lets warm air move freely while the inner shorts keep the hem grounded.

Tiered ruffle hem. Two stacked panels create the outer volume. The top tier flares from the hip while the lower tier adds full movement around the hemline without catching on the inner shorts.
Built-in undershorts. A soft underlayer is sewn directly into the waistband. It stays close to the leg so the outer ruffles can swing wide without riding up or pulling.
High elastic waistband. The waist is gathered over wide, stretchy elastic. It pulls on without zips or buttons, sitting flat against the torso and holding its place through active movement.
Cold wash care. Machine wash cold with like colours to keep the army green and white floral print sharp. Line dry to preserve the soft drape of the lightweight tiers.
