We cut these barrel trousers from mid-weight corduroy that holds warmth for the cooler months. The leg bows out around the knee and curves back toward the ankle. Dark yellow ribs give the surface a low sheen, broken up by folded striped patch pockets on the front.

• Bowed barrel leg. The leg cuts wide through the thigh and bows outward before drawing in at the cuff. This gives the pants their rounded shape without pooling excess fabric around your shoes. It leaves plenty of room to move.
• Striped patch pockets. We set deep patch pockets on the front panels using a contrasting striped cloth. Folded tops with button detailing secure the corners. They sit flat across the hips and hold small everyday items without pulling the waist.
