We cut these loose trousers from black corduroy with a soft, weighted drape for cooler weather. The barrel leg curves out through the calf and tapers gently above the ankle. Up front, we set folded patch pockets in a contrasting striped weave with small button details.

• Curved barrel leg. The leg bows out wide through the knee and calf, then pulls back in toward the ankle. It creates room without trailing underfoot. The corduroy ribs run vertically down the curve, giving the loose volume a clean downward line.
• Drawstring waist. A gathered elastic waistband sits at a mid rise and adjusts with a soft fabric tie. It pulls on without zips or metal hardware. The casing stays flat across the front while gathering evenly around the sides and back.
• Striped patch pockets. We set deep patch pockets on the front hips using a contrast striped cloth. Each pocket has a folded upper edge and a button accent. They sit flat when empty and hold small essentials without pulling down the waistband.
• Washing and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like darks to protect the corduroy nap and the contrast pocket cloth. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to keep the barrel shape intact. Avoid bleach to preserve the deep black dye.
