We built this piece as a single unit, cutting an outer mini dress over integrated inner shorts. The cotton knit has added stretch so it pulls on without zippers. It gives you the easy hang of a short summer dress with the practical base of an athletic romper.

• Built-in inner shorts. The knit shorts sit directly beneath the outer skirt, anchored at the waist seams so they stay put during movement without bunching up under the hem.
• Deep front patch pockets. We topstitched two wide patch pockets across the lower front. They sit flat against the jersey knit and hold a ball, keys, or a phone securely.
• Narrow shoulder straps. The slender straps leave the shoulders bare and lead into a clean v-neckline. The front and back necklines are bound smoothly to keep their shape through repeated wear.
• Cotton jersey care. Machine wash cold with like colors to protect the navy dye. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to keep the stretch knit recovered and smooth.
