We cut this one-piece dress with an open V-neck and fine spaghetti straps, then gave it a wide hem that falls freely. Hidden shorts underneath keep the piece anchored while the outer skirt moves on its own. The cotton blend knit holds a steady stretch without losing its shape around the chest.

• Built-in shorts. Underneath the loose outer skirt sits a pair of fitted shorts cut from the same soft stretch knit. They stay in place while the dress floats around them, giving the garment solid coverage through active movement.
• Front patch pockets. We dropped two roomy patch pockets straight onto the front skirt panels. They sit flat when empty and are deep enough to carry tennis balls, keys, or a phone without pulling down the neckline.
• Spaghetti strap bodice. The V-neck top is cut clean with narrow shoulder straps to leave the arms and shoulders open. It rests close across the chest before loosening into the swing hem beneath.
• Washing and care. Machine wash cold with similar tones to protect the pale coffee shade and preserve the spandex recovery. Line drying helps the narrow straps and jersey seams maintain their original stretch over time.
