We cut these sweatpants wide through the thigh and straight to the floor for cooler days. The knit fabric has enough weight to drop cleanly without clinging. An elastic waist holds position with a flat drawstring, while oversized patch pockets anchor the front panels.

• Wide palazzo leg. The leg runs straight from the hip down with generous ease. That extra width lets air move around the legs and gives the knit fabric space to swing as you walk.
• Exposed seam lines. We ran topstitched seam lines down the legs to give structure to a loose knit shape. The stitching keeps the fabric falling straight instead of bunching around the knees.
• Deep patch pockets. Two large patch pockets sit flat against the front hips. We stitched them deep enough to hold keys or a phone without pulling the waistband down on one side.
• Care for knitwear. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle or by hand to protect the surface texture. Skip the bleach and hang the pair flat to dry so the hem holds its length.
