We cut these sweatpants wide from the hip down so the knit fabric falls straight without catching at the knee. The black cloth has enough weight to keep its shape through the leg. An elastic band with a flat drawcord anchors the waist, paired with oversized patch pockets set flat on the front.

• Wide leg cut. The leg runs straight and wide from the upper thigh to the hem. The knit fabric drops under its own weight, leaving plenty of room through the calf and ankle.
