We cut these palazzo trousers with an open leg that falls straight from the hip. The high waistband combines gathered elastic with a self-fabric drawstring and decorative buttons down the front. Made from a soft linen blend dyed in deep army green, they allow heat to escape during warm afternoons.

Elastic drawstring waistband. The high-rise waistband uses an internal elastic band that holds its place without digging into the waist. We added an adjustable flat drawstring across the front alongside decorative buttons for a classic trouser detail.
Full palazzo leg. The leg runs wide and straight from the top of the thigh down to the hem. This loose cut keeps the fabric off the skin so air moves freely through the garment while you walk.
Side pockets. We set deep slant pockets into the side seams so they lie flat when empty. They hold daily essentials without pulling the linen blend out of shape or adding bulk to the hips.
Linen blend care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cool or lukewarm water, or wash by hand. Hang the trousers to dry naturally instead of running them through a dryer, and use a steam iron to relax the creases.
