We cut these palazzo pants loose through the thigh and down to a broad hem, adding subtle ruffle details along the outer leg seams. The linen blend stays light and lets heat vent on warm days. A smocked waistband sits flat and holds with an adjustable cord.

Smocked waistband. We gathered the top band with soft elastic thread so it stretches without pinching, then added an external drawstring cord. It stays put at your natural waist or lower down.
Palazzo leg with ruffles. The leg runs wide from the hip down. We set a small ruffle trim into the outer seam to give the fabric movement as you walk while keeping the hem open.
Side pocket construction. We set deep pockets directly into the side seams. They sit flat against the hip when empty and drop low enough to hold a phone without pulling the waistband.
Linen blend care. Wash on a gentle cycle or by hand in lukewarm water. Hang them on a line to dry and press with steam while the weave is still slightly damp.
