A wide palazzo leg gives this pair its easy stride, while side ruffle detailing runs down the outer seam for added movement. We chose a muted bean paste and white plaid on a lightweight linen blend weave. An elastic smocked waistband and functional front ties keep the rise sitting right where you set it.

Smocked waistband. The wide smocked waist band gathers the top cleanly and sits flat against the skin. An adjustable drawstring lets you tighten or loosen the hold through the day.
Side ruffle detail. We added a gathered ruffle along the outer leg seam. It breaks up the grid of the plaid and catches the air as the wide palazzo cut swings.
Linen blend weave. The linen blend fabric keeps an open weave that vents warm air easily. It softens after washing and carries the natural texture of real flax without feeling stiff.
Wash and care. Wash on a gentle cycle or by hand in cool water, then hang the pants to dry. Skip the machine dryer to preserve the drape, and use a steam iron if needed.
