We cut these cropped harem pants with a generous balloon leg that tapers slightly before the hem. The cotton linen blend holds its shape while letting air move freely. An elastic waistband with an adjustable cord settles comfortably without binding.

Cotton linen weave. The cotton linen blend gives this navy plaid a dry hand and visible texture. It vents warm air, drapes loosely, and softens after washing.
Balloon leg shape. We gave the legs a wide barrel profile with volume through the calf. The cut drops away from the hips and finishes at a cropped capri length.
Waistband and cord. A gathered elastic band sits flat across the waist. We added an adjustable front drawstring so you can adjust the hold without extra bulk.
Care and wash. Wash on a gentle cycle in cool water or hand wash. Line dry in the shade to preserve the weave, and press with steam if needed.
