We cut these loose barrel pants from a textured cotton and linen weave in lake blue and white plaid. The leg curves out through the calf before tapering toward the cropped hem, keeping the fabric away from the skin. An elastic waist with a self fabric drawstring anchors the high rise.

• Cotton linen weave. The cotton and linen blend gives the cloth a dry, natural hand that softens with every wash. The open weave lets air move through the wide legs on warm afternoons.
• Barrel leg shape. Volume sits through the lower leg in a relaxed balloon curve. The cropped hem stops above the ankle so the fabric hangs clear without dragging.
• Elastic drawstring waistband. The wide elastic band stays flat against the waist. We ran a matching drawstring through the casing so you can adjust the tension directly.
