We cut these palazzo pants with extra room through the leg and split the outer seams up to the calf. The hem is rounded so the cloth floats instead of catching. A flat drawstring waist keeps the rise right where you place it.

Split hem construction. The outer seam opens into a curved vent near the hem. This keeps the wide palazzo shape moving freely and lets warm air pass through without catching around the ankle.
Drawstring waistband. We set a soft elastic band at the top and threaded a self-fabric tie through the channel. You can cinch it high or let it sit loose on the hips.
Rust red linen. The cloth is an open-weave linen with a dry hand that softens through the wash. The rust red tone is dyed through the yarn, showing natural slub texture across the weave.
Pockets and care. Two deep side pockets sit along the forward seam so they do not pull open. Hand wash or run on a gentle cycle, then hang the pants straight to air dry.
