We cut these palazzo trousers with an open leg that falls straight from the hip. The waistband gathers with an enclosed elastic and a front cord, leaving the seat loose. Off-white dots sit across the rust red linen weave, which softens with each cold wash.

• Elastic drawstring waist. An enclosed elastic band circles the entire top edge, anchored with a front tie so you can adjust where the rise sits. The gather spreads fabric evenly around the hips without bunching.
• Wide palazzo leg. The leg runs wide from the upper thigh down to a broad hem. This shape lets air move through the linen weave and keeps the fabric away from the knee as you walk.
• Side seam pockets. Two inset pockets sit along the side seams, deep enough to hold a phone or keys without pulling at the waistline. We set them flat so they stay flush against the hip.
• Rust red dot print. We printed small off-white polka dots over a deep rust red ground. Wash the pants on a gentle cold cycle with like colors, and hang them to dry to preserve the print.
