We cut these with generous volume through the hip and leg before letting the hem fall wide. The low waistband uses an elastic channel anchored with a drawstring. Vertical stripes in brown and white run the full length of the weave, giving the wide fabric room to move.

• Low drawstring waist. The waistband rests low on the hips with an encased elastic band. We added a matching fabric drawstring through the front so you can set the tension where you want it.
• Harem volume. The cut drops low through the seat to create a loose harem shape. Fabric falls straight down from the gathers, keeping the silhouette wide and open rather than structured.
• Side drop pockets. Two deep pockets are set into the side seams below the gathers. They sit flat when empty and hold small items without pulling on the waistband.
