We cut these wide palazzo pants with plenty of ease through the hip and thigh. The linen blend holds a soft, natural drape that lets air move through the wide legs. A pull-on elastic waist with a functional drawstring keeps the fit easy across the middle. We dyed this run in lake blue.

• Elastic drawstring waist. We built the waistband with enclosed elastic all the way around and added a self-fabric drawstring. It pulls on without fasteners and stays anchored where you tie it.
• Wide palazzo leg. The leg drops straight and wide from the hip down to a clean hem. That width gives the fabric room to sway as you walk, venting warm air during summer travel.
• Oversized patch pockets. We set deep patch pockets onto the front panels instead of hidden side seams. They sit flat when empty and hold a phone or keys without pulling the waist down.
• Linen care. Wash this linen blend on a gentle cycle or by hand in cool water. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry in the shade, then press with a warm iron if needed.
