We cut these loose through the seat and wide through the leg for warm afternoons. The high waistband sits flat against the waist, while large patch pockets sit low on the hips to weight the linen blend. It gives the fabric room to sway without clinging.

• High waist rise. The waistband sits high with an internal elastic channel that holds its position without pinching. It anchors the extra fabric of the wide leg so the pants stay put as you walk.
• Barrel leg shape. We gave the legs full palazzo width through the mid-thigh, then let the volume curve slightly inward toward the ankle. The linen blend hangs away from the calves and vents warm air.
• Dropped patch pockets. Two deep patch pockets sit low along the outer seams. They hold small daily items and add a second layer of linen that gives the outer leg panels a heavier drape.
