A deep high waist anchors this wide leg, while the sides swell out into a rounded barrel shape before falling loose to the hem. We chose a plain-weave linen blend in a rich coffee tone that softens with each wash. Dropped side patch pockets add weight and shape to the outer seam.

• Barrel leg cut. The leg widens through the thigh and knee, creating a rounded harem profile that stays clear of the skin. The fabric hangs straight down to an open hem without binding at the calf.
• Dropped patch pockets. We set the large patch pockets low on the outer hips to ground the volume. They hold keys or small goods without pulling the high waistband out of place.
