We cut these with an arched outer seam that bows through the knee and narrows back in toward the hem. The black linen blend hangs away from the leg, finished with pale contrast thread along the pockets and panels. It pulls on with a drawstring waist that sits where you place it.

• Barrel leg shape. The pattern bows outward through the lower thigh before tapering toward a cropped ankle hem. That curved side seam builds full volume through the leg without letting the fabric drag on the ground.
