We cut these straight-leg trousers loose from the hip down so the fabric falls clean without clinging. The light army green linen blend is lightweight and open, which lets warm air pass straight through. An elastic channel with an adjustable cord keeps the waist steady through a full day of wear.

Straight cut leg. The leg runs straight from the upper thigh to the ankle without tapering. That gives the hem enough weight to swing naturally as you walk, keeping the fabric away from the skin.
Drawstring waistband. We built an elastic band into the waist and ran a matching cord through the casing. You can cinch it tight or let it rest low on the hips without the band rolling over.
Deep side pockets. The side pockets are set deep into the side seams. They sit flat when empty and hold small items securely without pulling down the silhouette of the trousers.
