We cut these trousers wide through the thigh and hem for a full palazzo sweep. The front waistband stays flat with pleats and a hook closure, while the back panel uses elastic to give as you sit. Deep slant pockets sit right on the hip seam.

• Waistband and closure. We built a structured front with belt loops and a zip fly, paired with a hidden hook-and-eye closure. The back waist gathers on soft elastic, so the band sits flat without pulling when you move.
