We cut these harem pants with subtle panel stitching along the legs to build a lantern shape that gathers inward toward the hem. The linen blend keeps the drape loose while venting heat during warm afternoons. A soft elastic waistband sits comfortably without pinching.

• Dropped crotch volume. The extra room through the seat and thighs works with the dropped rise to keep the fabric away from the skin. The lantern shape rounds out wide before pulling in slightly at the lower calf.
• Black and white pattern. We print this piece in a scattered black and white dot pattern. The graphic print breaks up the woven texture of the linen blend while hiding ordinary travel wrinkles.
• Elastic waist and pockets. An enclosed elastic band holds the waist in place without hardware or drawstrings. We set deep pockets into the side seams so small items do not pull against the front panels.
• Cold washing and line care. Wash in cool or lukewarm water on a gentle cycle, or wash by hand. Hang the pants to dry to keep the linen fibres smooth. Use a steam iron if you prefer a flat press.
