We cut these black linen pants with room through the seat and an arched outseam that tapers back in at the cropped ankle. The waistband combines flat-sewn elastic with an adjustable drawstring. Deep side pockets sit along the seam line so the linen hangs straight without bunching.

• Barrel leg cut. The outseam curves outward past the knee before pulling back inward at the cropped hem. Panel stitching supports the rounded shape so the volume stays structured rather than collapsing.
• Drawstring elastic waistband. We set a broad band of elastic into the top channel and threaded a matching drawcord through the front. It pulls tight when you want it higher or rests loose on the hips.
