We cut these with a generous dropped rise and a balloon leg that gathers back toward the ankle. The lake blue and white dot print sits on an open linen blend that lets air move. Lace ribbon frames the slanted pockets and edges the cuffs so the hems sit light against the shoe.

• Elastic waist and drawstring. A wide channel casing holds the elastic flat against the waist. We ran a self-fabric drawstring through the front so you can pull the fit tighter without the band bunching or rolling down.
• Harem volume and dropped rise. The seat drops low to give the thighs room to clear. Volume swells through the calf into a lantern shape, then gathers back in above the ankle to keep the hem clear of the ground.
• Pockets with lace trim. Two deep side pockets sit along the front hips where hands rest naturally. We stitched open lace bands along the pocket entries and repeated the detail across the bottom leg seams.
• Washing and linen care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cool or warm water, or wash by hand. Hang the pants on a line to dry naturally to preserve the lace work. A steam iron settles the weave.
