These culottes sit loose from the hip down. We blend linen with rayon for a softer drop and less stubborn creasing than pure flax. The dark blue yarn shows the slub texture of the weave without going sheer in direct sun.

• Wide cropped leg. The leg opens wide right below the hip and falls straight to a cropped hem. It carries enough cloth to move like a full skirt when you walk, but the split leg keeps your stride completely free.
• Waistband and cord. We gathered the waist on an elastic channel and threaded a matching drawstring through the front. The band sits flat against the skin without digging, and the cord lets you reset the tension after hours of sitting.
• Deep side pockets. Two inset pockets sit along the side seams. We anchored them flat to the front panels so keys or a phone will not pull the wide leg out of line or bunch up under the waistband.
• Linen and rayon weave. The fabric blends natural linen slub with smooth rayon. Cold wash on a gentle cycle, skip the dryer, and hang them in the shade to dry. A quick pass with a steam iron settles the hem.
