We cut these culottes with an open hem and enough leg volume to hang like a skirt when you stand still. The black linen blend combines natural slub texture with the softer drape of rayon. An elastic casing and an adjustable drawstring anchor the waist without pinching.

• Wide culotte leg. The leg panels sweep wide from the hip down to a cropped hem. They give you the continuous motion of a divided skirt, with separate leg openings that stay clear of your stride.
• Drawstring waist. We gathered the top edge into an elastic band and threaded an adjustable drawstring through the front. The casing rests flat against the waist, so the gathers spread out evenly without bunching.
• Deep side pockets. Two inset pockets sit along the side seams, deep enough to hold keys or a phone. We stitch the pocket bags flat inside the seam so the silhouette stays clean across the hip.
• Linen blend care. Wash gently by hand or machine in cool water, then line dry in the shade. The black weave softens with each wash. Use a warm steam iron if you prefer a flat press over natural rumples.
