We cut these palazzo trousers wide through the hip and thigh so the lightweight linen blend can fall freely. The pull-on waistband stays flat against the waist, while the open cuffs carry a band of white lace. A green and white weave gives the yardage its pattern.

• Elastic waist. An enclosed elastic band circles the entire waistline without hardware or ties. It sits high and holds the volume of the wide cut evenly around the hips.
• Palazzo leg and lace hem. The legs drop straight and broad from the hip down to the floor. Along each open cuff, we stitched a band of white lace that finishes the hem.
• Side pocket construction. Two deep pockets are set into the side seams. We shaped them to sit flat under the gingham weave while carrying a phone or keys without pulling the waist.
• Linen blend and care. The woven yarn lets heat escape and softens with wear. Wash on a gentle cold cycle, line dry instead of using machine heat, and steam to clear out wrinkles.
