We cut this shirt with a straighter line through the torso than our wide tunics. The navy rayon-and-linen weave gives the long sleeves a light, fluid drape without clinging. Along the neckline, small crochet details break up the dark tone and keep the front open.

• Neckline and trim. We set a shallow V-neck into the front and lined the edge with narrow lace and crochet inserts. The stitching sits flat against the collarbone so the opening holds its shape through regular wash cycles.
• Torso cut. This body is cut closer through the chest and waist than our oversized tops. If you want a loose, boxy hang over linen pants, we suggest going up one size from your usual choice.
• Linen blend cloth. The fabric combines linen with rayon for a softer surface that wrinkles less sharply than pure flax. It lets air pass through while hanging smoothly along the shoulders and arms.
• Washing and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar dark garments to keep the deep navy colour rich. Line dry or lay flat out of direct sun to keep the lace details intact.
