We cut these baggy palazzo trousers from soft, textured corduroy to hold warmth through cool weather. Front pleats drop extra volume into the wide legs, while a high rise keeps the waist anchored. Turn the cuffs up to show the woven plaid lining at the hem.

• High rise waist. A clean high waistband sits comfortably above the hips and anchors the generous cut. Front pleats open downward, giving the hips and thighs ample room to move without pulling across the front.
• Wide leg cut. The legs run wide and straight from the hip down to the hem. Ribbed corduroy has enough body to keep the full palazzo shape open as you walk, holding its own line rather than clinging.
• Plaid turned hem. We finished the lower hem with a contrasting plaid facing inside. Wear the cuffs straight or folded up to show the check pattern against the solid camel ridges of the outer cord.
