We cut these trousers with a wide leg and plenty of room through the seat. The corduroy cloth holds warmth when the weather turns cool, while the elastic waist sits flat and ties with an adjustable cord. It is a pull-on shape with no hardware to dig in.

• Ribbed corduroy cloth. The textured corduroy fabric has a soft hand and enough weight to fall straight from the hip. It holds warmth through autumn and winter without feeling stiff or heavy.
• Drawstring elastic waistband. We gathered the top edge over a wide elastic band and threaded a matching drawcord through the front. You pull them on easily and adjust the tension to sit where you prefer.
• Wide leg cut. The legs fall straight and loose down to a plain hem. That wide opening gives your boots room underneath and lets the corduroy drape with some substance as you walk.
• Side pocket construction. Two deep pockets sit inset at the side seams. We cut the bags roomy enough to hold a phone, keys, or cards without bulging out the line of the hip.
