We cut these trousers from midweight ribbed corduroy that holds warmth and gives the horseshoe silhouette its shape. The leg bows outward at the knee with horizontal patch seams before tapering toward the ankle. An elastic pull-on waist with an adjustable cord keeps the top block simple.
