We cut these loose barrel trousers from a lightweight ribbed corduroy in army green. The legs bow outward through the knee and taper slightly toward the ankle, balanced by twin white side stripes down each outer seam. An elastic back waistband keeps the rise flexible while the button front sits flat.

• Barrel leg cut. A diagonal seam guides the fabric outward through the mid-leg before drawing back in at the hem. This creates a roomy curved shape with plenty of space around the knee.
• Waistband and button. We set a clean button closure at the front and gathered elastic across the back band. The waist pulls on easily and stays in place without pinching across the middle.
• Corduroy texture and warmth. The army green corduroy has a soft, fine wale that holds warmth through cooler months. It carries a supple hand feel and drops with enough weight to maintain its rounded line.
