We cut these sweatpants with a wide barrel leg that bows out through the thigh and calf before tapering toward the ankle. The navy knit has enough weight to hold that rounded shape without collapsing. An elastic waistband with an exterior tie keeps the fit grounded.

Curved barrel leg. The leg panels curve outward through the calf and taper slightly at the opening. This cut gives the pants volume through the middle while keeping the hem clear of the ground.
Plaid pocket bags. We set deep front pockets into the side seams and lined them with a woven plaid fabric. The pattern shows at the pocket edge against the dark navy knit.
Drawstring waist. A broad elastic band sits flat at the natural waist. An exterior drawcord lets you cinch the waistband tighter or leave it loose.
Washing and care. Machine wash cold with similar dark colors and dry on a low cycle. The dense knit holds its shape and keeps its dark tone after repeated washes.
