We cut these sweatpants wide through the thigh and gently curved down the leg. The Malachite Green knit has enough weight to keep its barrel shape rather than collapsing inward. It pulls on easily over the hips with a flat elastic channel and an adjustable cotton cord.

• Barrel leg shape. The outer seam bows out past the knee and curves back down toward a wide opening. This cut gives the lower leg plenty of room without pooling underfoot or pulling at the hip.
• Elastic drawstring waistband. We gathered the knit around a wide interior elastic band that stays flat against the skin. An exposed front drawstring lets you tighten or loosen the rise as you sit and move.
