These lounge pants take the room of a sweatpant and bow it out through the calves before tapering down to a straight hem. We cut them in a midweight cotton blend with a soft inner face. The elastic waistband carries a flat drawstring so you can adjust the rise where you want it.

• Barrel leg shape. The outer seam curves out below the hip and bows through the mid-leg before dropping straight to the ankle. This shape keeps fabric off the knees while you sit, walk, or stretch, leaving plenty of room throughout.
• Adjustable elastic waist. We gathered the top over a wide band of interior elastic and threaded a drawstring through the front. It sits flat across the middle and stays in place without pinching or rolling down when you bend.
• Deep side pockets. Two inset pockets sit along the side seams, cut deep enough to hold a phone or small wallet. We anchored the pocket bags into the waistband seam so they do not bunch or shift forward when loaded.
• Care and wash. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle or by hand with like colors. Avoid bleach to protect the light khaki green tone. Hang the fleece to dry so the cotton blend keeps its soft finish.
