We cut these lounge pants with a rounded barrel shape that stays loose through the leg before falling straight to the hem. A wide elastic band and a working drawcord anchor the high rise. We knit them from a soft cotton blend for cooler days at home or on the road.

• Barrel leg cut. The leg curves out from the hip and stays wide through the calf, then drops straight to an open bottom hem. It gives your stride plenty of room without bunching up around the ankles.
• Drawcord waist. A broad elastic waistband sits high and stays flat against the waist. We ran a matching cotton cord through the front casing so you can tie it looser or tighter throughout the day.
• Side pockets. We set deep slant pockets into both side seams. They sit flat when empty and hold a phone, cards, or a set of keys without pulling the waist down or distorting the outer line of the leg.
• Cold wash care. Machine wash or hand wash in cold water with similar darks to protect the black dye. Skip the bleach and hang the pair up to dry naturally so the cotton blend keeps its soft surface.
